Terrafix Piles were founded by two partners and co-inventors who transformed a construction site challenge into a patented innovation now distributed in Canada and the United States.
The origin: the right problem, at the right time
It all started with a simple request from a client: to install a fence without digging holes or pouring cement. While searching for a solution on the market, the two founders made a clear observation: no stake existed that allowed for complete adjustment once in the ground.
The idea for the adjustable head arose from the experience of one of the co-inventors in selling spigots, supports used to fix glass panels around swimming pools. These supports work on a simple principle: a plate with four screws that allow for leveling adjustment, even when the concrete is not perfectly straight.
"What if we took this principle and reversed it to adapt it to a stake?"
That's exactly what they did. By integrating this four-screw plate directly onto the pile head, they created a system that allows for correcting the angle and level after installation, without concrete, without heavy machinery, and without having to come back the next day.
